Terms of Service: Three (3) – year contract

Key Responsibilities

i.           Gathering information on the existing programmes, significant events and the impact on customers and

ii.           forwarding the information to the head of department for dissemination.

iii.        Work will further entail liaising with media practitioners

iv.         liaising with the public on issues of mutual concern under the guidance of a senior officer. 

Requirements:

i.           Possess a Bachelor degree in any of the following discipline: Journalism, Mass Communication, International Relations, Communication Studies, Public Relations and Social Sciences from a recognized institution

ii.          Possess good oral and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili

iii.        Proficient in computer application

OR

i.           Have a diploma in any of the following discipline: Journalism, Mass Communication, International Relations, Communication Studies, Public Relations or any other approved equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; and

ii.          Served as a Public Communications officer III for minimum of 3 years

iii.        Possess good oral and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili

iv.        Proficient in computer application.
