Terms of Service: Five (5) – year contract
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Prepare and present for approval of the Board of the Municipality, an annual estimate of revenue and expenditure to fund and carry out the programmes and operations of the Board:
ii. Be principally responsible for building and maintaining a strong alliance and effective working relationships between the Board of the Municipality and the civil society, private sector and community-based organization:
iii. Implement the decisions and functions of the Board;
iv. Enforce the provisions of Mavoko and Kangundo Municipal Charter and County legislation and other applicable laws,
v. Prepare and administer the annual municipality budget:
vi. Organize Departmental structures and develop and administration
vii. Supervise and exercise disciplinary control of all municipality policies, human resources and assets.
viii. Administer municipality assets, utilities and property
ix. Secretary to the Board
x. Perform other duties as any be directed by the Board of the Municipality
Requirements of Appointment
i. Be a citizen of Kenya:
ii. Hold a degree from a university recognized in Kenya or its equivalent:
iii. Has at least eighteen (18) - years experience in management:
iv. Satisfies the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
